Interview with Kurahashi Erika sensei about her manga

"Alice no Hoshi" (lit: Alice's Star)

Q. How old were you when you first started draw manga?

A. I first submitted when I was 15 and I was 16 when

I drew my debut manga.

Q. What if you couldn't become a mangaka?

A. When I was younger, I thought "I'm going to be a

popstar!" *laughs* Probably just an average office worker.

Q. What kind of person is the main character, Alika chan?

A. Once she's made up her mind, she heads straight into

it without a thought. She's a cheerful and outgoing girl,

but she'll have more worries in the near future and

she'll show a part of her personality that she never

shows before. I hope you watch over Alika.

Q. What are your favourite TV shows?

A. Music shows. I watch everything that is usually broadcasted

on TV. Anyway I love music.

Q. What's been exciting lately?

A. I went to London during my break. And that I went to the

Kinki Kids concert. Especially Tsuyoshi kun's solo. I cried.

I also fell in love with Kouichi kun again.

Q. If there was one wish that could be granted to you.....?

A. To reconstruct my hands so they can work faster *laughs*
