Overall plot:
Kayu Kayu and Sasuke have been going out for just over a year. Kayu wants to marry Sasuke one day ^_^ They're happily love-love and all things good.

During class, Kayu notices a guy called Sugimoto (that's his surname) who is always being used by the other students who are too slack to do their own work. They get him to do their homework and do chores and things like that. Kayu becomes friends with him and hangs out with him (or at least bugs him) a lot.

Sasuke Some of the people in the class start to think that Kayu likes Sugimoto and is going to dump Sasuke. Sasuke himself is a little jealous, but doesn't seem to show it. But when Sugimoto overhears people saying things about him and Kayu, he later tells Kayu that he doesn't want to be seen with her any more.

Kayu gets upset because she thinks Sugimoto doesn't like her any more and tells Sasuke that she's kinda sad about it. Sasuke tells her that he doesn't want to see her so upset while she's talking about another guy. Kayu gets annoyed.

Sugimoto During class, the other "cool" people tease Sugimoto because he plays piano. They say he's a dork for playing piano. Then Kayu gets annoyed and says "what, so who says YOU'RE cool?" and defends Sugimoto. They get annoyed back at her and then ask her if she likes Sugimoto that much. Kayu doesn't get it, but then realises why Sugimoto wanted to stay away from her. Sasuke tells the other that they're being stupid because Kayu likes him, no one else. Kayu agrees. Then they go see Sugimoto and Kayu says they still want to bug Sugimoto because they're friends (and somehow Kayu makes Sasuke become Sugimoto's friend as well ^_^;;).

Later on, it's Valentine's Day. Kayu gives Sugimoto a little gift chocolate (it's really small, like it's one block of a piece of block chocolate or something). Sugimoto says thanks but no thanks and gives the chocolate back to Kayu. Then he turns and sees someone. Sasuke and Kayu notice a cute girl from another school waiting by the gate. She's been harrassed a bit by some guys who are trying to pick her up. Sugimoto then walks up to her and says that she's her girlfriend. Kayu and Sasuke are shocked. Sasuke utters the words "I've been beaten..." to which Kayu says "OI!" ^_^;

Aiko to Jyo-
The title, I think is a pun on the phrase "aiko de sho" that you say while playing 'paper, scissors, rock'. You say it when you both have the same (rock x rock, paper x paper, scissors x scissors). I'm guessing it's a pun on that, but don't quote me on it ^_^

Aiko to Jyo- was published in the August 2000 issue of Ribon.

Overall plot:
Aiko This story is about a girl called Aiko and a guy called Jyo (Jo). Jo is a nickname that everyone calls him. Aiko has a bit of a crush on Jo and is happy when she gets to sit near him in class.

However, Aiko is a bit naive or innocent and Jo amuses himself with her innocent nature. Aiko believes in Santa Claus and basically believes anything that anyone tells her. Jo plays around with her a bit, telling her that the teacher's engagement ring is "a ring of bad luck" ^_^;;

Jo and Aiko get to be pretty good friends and one day while they are staying back after school, Jo tells her to close her eyes and make a wish because it's 4:04pm and 4 seconds and your wish comes true at this time. So Aiko obediently does close her eyes and Jo kisses her. Aiko has no idea what happened and is a bit confused.

Jyo Then later on, she overhears Jo talking to some guys about how he kissed her. He tells his friends that she's easy and she'll let any guy kiss her. Aiko gets hurt and is annoyed at Jo. When he's talking to her next time and teasing her again, she tells him that she's not stupid. She can tell the difference between reality and what isn't reality.

Aiko moves her desk far away from Jo's and is mean to him when he tries to help her carry some books. Jo finds out that she overheard what he said. Jo then asks when she's going to stop being mad at him and Aiko gets angry because Jo is acting as if it's her fault she's angry. She throws the books at him and yells at him. Then Jo tells her that he likes her, which is why he kissed her. Aiko starts to cry when he apologises. Then he tells her that it's 4:04pm and 4 seconds again. Aiko says she's not going to believe him this time. Jo tells her he's not kidding around. So she closes her eyes and then finds a ring on her finger! It's a gift from Jo ^_^ And everything is happy in the end!
