It reads : Dear Ion By the time you read this, I don't know if you still believe in the jinx. I told you that "When you say your name, something good will happen" but in actual fact, it would awaken your power sleeping inside you. When your powers awaken, your body will change a little but that is a temporary thing and you shouldn't worry. After you get used to it, the power will be yours for eternity. Make my dream a reality and use your powers to help others and I pray that you will be happy... From your father Ion then shouts "Ion chan revival!!" and people wonder what she's doing. She realises that if she can use her power, then she can get close to Mikado again with her powers. She sees Mikado at the school gates and thinks that it will be hard to be with a love that won't work, but nothing can stop her feeling that way. She is about to call him when the experiment piece suddenly cracks. Ion sees it and thinks that then her powers will be gone. She can't be a hero. Mikado turns around, thinking he heard something and is silent. Then, Ai appears beside him and says that Ion probably won't come to school. He asks how she knows and she says she heard it from Toudaiji. Ai asks if it's really okay this way and she tells him that when he dumped her, he didn't look like that. Then she hits him on the head and says that if he regrets it later, it's not her fault. Then Ai runs off and Mikado is called over by someone from behind. Mikado says "All right, all right~~~ I'm sorry! It's my fault! If you want to blame, me then blame me....." But then he looks stunned. At the school cafeteria, Ion is stuffing her face with all sorts of food. Kiyo chan tells her that she'll get fat. Ion says she doesn't care any more. After finishing off about ten bowls of food, she asks for 3 pizzas, curry and more ramen. She tells Kiyo chan and Manami that she won't be able to use her powers soon and she won't mean anything to Mikado. When she realised that, she couldn't look at his face or call his name and it was finally over. So it doesn't matter if she gets fat. Kiyo chan suggests that Ion should go for the class rep now. Ion frowns. Someone shouts "You got dumped by Tsuburagi~~~~~~~!?" Mikado and the person who called him over are talking behind the school. Mikado asks if that's why he's got his hair like that. The person is the class rep, with his hair down. The class rep tells Mikado that Ion clearly told him that she has someone she likes. Mikado looks guilty and the class rep says that it looks like she confessed her love, then he dumped her. The words are like daggers to Mikado. He says he doesn't really know for sure yet, if he likes Ion as a girl, or he admires her for using powers. He didn't want to hurt her so he ran away from himself. Mikado trails off and the class rep tells him to keep going. Mikado says that even still, he wants to see her. The class rep says that he understands because they are alike. Mikado asks how they are alike. The class rep says that he was a fan of Psycho Man too. Mikado is shocked, then asks why the class rep hates him. The class rep says that he realised that Psycho Man was a fake, a lie. When he was younger, he went to a department store and saw a Psycho Man show. He got lost, then he say that when Psycho Man took off his helmet, it was his FATHER!! Mikado punches him and says it can't be true and sobs. The class rep says he saw it so it can't be denied. Since then, he didn't believe in super powers and he hated Mikado because he studied it. But then there was one time that he wanted to believe in a miracle. That was when he first met Ion. He was nervous being the class rep and then Ion gave him a ribbon to tie his hair with. She told him to say her jinx. Even before her power awoke, Ion used her jinx to do "good things". Then he asks Mikado if he's realised already how he really feels. The class rep says that Mikado should know if the person he wants to see now is the Ion who uses her jinx for super powers or the Ion who uses her jinx to cheer you up. Mikado then has a whole bunch of flashbacks with Ion calling his name. Then he sees a flashback of Ion smiling and saying "Mikado, close your eyes" and he realises. The class rep says that he hasn't given up yet, if Mikado doesn't hurry up then.... Mikado stands up and gives the class rep the doll of Psycho Man. Mikado tells the class rep that he can have the doll, but not Ion. He runs off. Tagosaku suddenly pops out from behind the bushes and says "Oh! Kouki sama! It's been a while since you had your hair down. It suits you well.." The class rep holds onto Tagosaku's sleeve and says that he really, really loved Ion and he wanted to protect her. The only way he could get near her was being stupid and joking all the time, but she was his treasure. Tagosaku pats the class rep on the head, comforting him and the class rep thanks him. Suddenly, there's a huge earthquake. Ion tells Manami and Kiyo chan to get everyone of the school building and that she'll do something. They call Ion back, but she's already running. Ion is running and thinks that there's no time to stop the groun moving, she has to lift everyone up to help them. She knows the experiment piece won't last and it will probably crack fully and she won't be able to use her power any more. Then Mikado calls her. She looks up and shows him the experiment piece with the crack. Ion says sorry and then says her jinx. She lifts everyone off the ground. Manami, Kiyo chan and Ai are wondering what the floating is. Then after the earthquake stops, everyone floats back down. Kiyo chan smiles and says "That must be Ion.... It was only for a moment, but she lifted the whole lot of us. She sure showed us something." Ion is running away from Mikado. Mikado is telling her to stop running, but Ion shouts that she's not his psychic girl any more. Mikado is about to say something and Ion smiles at him saying that she likes him the most. She says that when she gets her confidence back, she'll try hard to win him back. But right now she wants to be by herself. Mikado grabs her hand and they fall on the grass. Mikado kisses her and says he loves her. He's sorry that he was close to her without knowing his feelings, but he was scared of hurting her. But now he knows that even if she can't fly or make things float, Ion has a lot of power. Ion floats and hugs him. After saying her final jinx, the experiment piece snaps and shatters. Later in the year, it's winter. A class room door slams open and it's the class rep. He runs in and hugs Ion, saying that even her winter uniform is cute. Ion screams. Mikado scowls at the class rep and reminds him that he got dumped. The class rep answers back, saying that even though he got dumped, he won't give up. Ion asks her friends for help but Kiyo chan says "Why don't you do that forever?", Manami says "Manami wants love too!" and Ai says "Sorry---! I'm busy trying to get myself a boyfriend!" Then Kiyo chan says "Hey Ion, you said that you couldn't use your powers any more because your body got too heavy right?" and Manami says "If anyone ate that much, they would get heavier!" Ion spots the mini Psycho Man doll on the ground. She picks it up and narrates -- It was a jinx since I was very young. If ever I was in trouble or I wanted a wish to be granted, say my name instead of counting 1-2-3 and something good was bound happen... Even if it's the success of a painful dream or a difficult matter of love, if you believe in your power then you can make miracles happen! Ion then turns to the reader and smiles, "So, you too!" Ion says her jinx and she floats the Psycho Man doll a little bit. Mikado and the class rep both say "Hm?" and look up from their fight. -- THE END OF ION --
