They discuss where they could have gone. Meanwhile, Sana and Hayama are on the train together. A train inspector asks them what they're doing, but they answer boldly so they aren't suspected. The next day, Hayama and Sana get out money from the bank and go on a bus to Dreamland. They ride on all the rides free because Sana has a special pass. They spend all day there and Sana takes some photos. Hayama doesn't think it's a good idea, but they take some anyway. At the end of the day, they have to decide where to stay. They choose a place that's the closest to where they are now. Sana dresses up and looks older, like an adult. They manage to get a room in the hotel. Hayama notices that she really as an actor because her speech has changed totally. Sana is happy that her dressing up worked. She goes off to clean herself up. Hayama sees the photos they took that day and sure enough, Sana has no expression. He hides the photos under the bed. He hears a noise in the bathroom and Sana has fainted. Hayama is about to call the ambulance or somebody to rely on. Sana says not to or else all of 'this' will be over. She says she'll be okay, so Hayama reluctantly puts the phone down. Hayama is thinking about what to do next. Sana's condition is getting bad and her expression isn't coming back. Sana wakes up and wonders whether Hayama is asleep. He is sitting by the window. She is about to go up to him when she sees the photos under the bed. She takes a look at them and wonders why she has no expression. She looks into the mirror and sees herself smiling. Hayama tells her that she only thinks that she's smiling and she has a disease of the heart. Sana is confused. Hayama tells Sana that she's been like how she was in the photo for a long time. He tells her to get better because he's on the verge of breaking too. If she breaks, then so will he. Sana turns to go have a shower, but Hayama tells her not to run away and grabs her. Sana thinks Hayama is scary all of a sudden. She says to him that he's going to go to L.A. anyway so why can't they have some fun while he's still here. Hayama finally snaps and tells her to stop it. He says that she doesn't understand anything and that she's gone and gotten herself ill over him, but it's not only her that'll be sad when they're apart, so will he. Hayama cries and Sana realises how selfish she has been. She hugs him. In the morning, they're in the same bed and Sana is surprised and sits up. Hayama rolls off the bed. She asks what they're doing here and Hayama wonders if she's better, because she seems to have forgotten what has been going on. Sana smiles a little. When they go into the hotel lobby, they see Sana's mother there. They knew all along because her Dreamland free pass was missing and transactions had been made at banks etc. Her mother stayed there too after going around all the hotels and asking peopleto let Sana stay. Sana is a little disappointed that in the end, they were protected by adults. She apologises to her mother and Sana's mother sees that her expression had returned. Hayama is scolded by his father and for the time being, they stay in Sana's mother's room. Sana's mother asks Hayama what he did to get Sana's expression back, but he keeps quiet because he doesn't want to say that he cried. At home, Sana's mother tells Hayama that his father wanted to go to L.A. because he could have an operation to fix his hand. Hayama's father explains everything about a karate doctor, called Dr. Barns. Sana is excited and says he has to go because it could be his chance. Iwasaki sensei decided to write about Sana and Hayama in his book, calling them girl S and boy A. Sana's mother agreed to it and in the book, it explained things about their relationship, but they seemed to think it wasn't anything too exciting. So Hayama is leaving to L.A. At the airport, Fuuka, Tsuyoshi, Aya and everybody else is there. Tsuyoshi kun is crying. Sana seems happy though and Fuuka is worried because Sana is still going to counselling. Hayama and his family are ready to board the plain and as he's leaving, Sana shouts that she'll stay a virgin. Everybody is stunned and Hayama's sister pretends not to know them. Sana tells Hayama not to cheat either and Hayama agrees. She says she'll try hard with a lot of things and Hayama thinks she is going to cry, but Sana smiles and says that he should try hard too. Then, Hayama smiles and Fuuka, Tsuyoshi and Aya are stunned. Sana smiles back and waves as he boards the plane. END OF CHAPTER 50
