Marron : Eh?

Friend : You're always happy, but when you go home, you're always a little sad. But lately,

you're not.

Marron : You think....?

[a little girl(Rie) bumps into Marron]

Marron : Sorry! Are you okay!? Oh, sorry, sorry! Does it hurt anywhere?

Rie : No..

Boy1 : Rie's weapon's on the ground!

(at the apartment mailboxes, Marron is checking hers)

Marron : [thinks] The letter from my parents which I have waited for, for years, still hasn't

come, but lately I'm a little cheerier and a little happier. Unfortunately, that happiness

comes from the silly notes Chiaki writes.

Marron : [reads aloud] hmm --? What--?

Chiaki and Marron : I want to eat gratin!?

Marron : .....what's this? 'I want to eat gratin'?

(Tanemura's note : Chiaki came running because he saw Marron)

Chiaki : Please make it -- I'm living by myself and I'm hungry...

Miyako : Chi--a--ki--!

(Tanemura's note : Miyako came running because she saw Chiaki)

Miyako : Don't stick together!!!

Miyako : I'LL make a delicious gratin!

Chiaki : Do you want to come and eat too, Marron?

[Marron's rosary falls out of her bag]

Chiaki : What a pretty crucifix

Acess holds up a sign saying - Job!

Miyako's dad holds up a sign with Jeanne and Sinbad's arrival notices.

(The three of them close their doors and sigh lovingly)

Marron : Sorry.... I just remembered I have to do something...

Chiaki : Really Marron? Me too...

Miyako : Me too....

[the three laugh lightly]

(I'll just call Rie's father, father)

Father : Hm? Jeanne is coming to steal my painting.... how interesting..

her because of the evil spirit?
