[Sindbad overhears and runs off]

[Joan D'arc and Maron stare at each other]
Maron monologue : Silver hair, strong expression. You are...
Maron : Joa... [shouts] Joan D'arc~~~~~~~~~~~~!?

near her.

Voice : Archbishop! Tomorrow is finally Joan's death sentence isn't it?

[Two men sit by a window talking]
Man : If we can dispose of that heresey Joan with the death sentence, then the French
army will be disturbed and our army will be sure to win.
Archbishop : That's right. I don't care if Joan really is a messenger from God at this time.
The people believe that she is just heresey so we should burn her to death while we have the
time.
Maron : [thinks] Wha...!

[Noin realises]
Noin : ... Evil spirits.
Maron : What?
Noin : What a horrible thing! The archbishop and the apprentice has both got evil spirits!
Maron : What!? Oh no! We have to seal them....
[Maron realises]
Maron : [thinks] Th.. that's right. I can't be Jeanne anymore.
Noin : ... There is a way.
Maron : What! Really!?
Noin : We time it right and free Joan. She also has the power to seal evil spirits.
Maron : I see! And if the archbishop returns to normal, then Joan's death sentence might be
cleared. Good idea!
[Noin grins]
Noin : Is it all right?
Maron : What?
Noin : Today seems like May the 19th here. In history, Joan is meant to die tomorrow. If you
change history, you may not exist. Is that all right?
Maron : I don't mind. I don't like it. I don't want any more people dying in front of me.
[Noin feels his heart hurting]

you're capricious and a crybaby. And _________...
[Noin laughs]
Noin : You're definitely not like Joan...
[Maron is fast asleep]
Noin : We must part... Maron...

(the next day)
[People are gathering around the stage where Joan will be burnt to death]
Maron : It's soon.
Noin : ...
People : It's Joan! Joan's coming!!
[Joan arrives, bound with ropes]

[Maron stops in front of Joan]

because of the evil spirit!!

[Noin appears in front of them]

[the fire lights]
Maron monologue : Is it happening to me again? Again I'm watching right before me, someone
dying. Is it going to end without me doing anything....? I don't want that at all!!
[Maron grabs the planks of burning wood]
Joan : ! What are you doing! It's no use even if you do that!!
Maron : I said I'd save you!! So I am!!
Joan : Wha...
Maron : Joan believe me! Who decided that if you are embraces by a man, that your purity has
been taken!? If that person's heart is still noble, then you're pure for eternity! If you
can believe a God that you haven't seen or know, then can't you believe in yourself!?

Maron : Maron.
