Okay just a little note to say that sometimes I might

make some explanations but they won't be included in

the downloadable image version because obviously it'll

clutter the whole thing. So if there's something weird

going on like a pun or something, then most likely I've

explained it in these text translations.

This cover is so pretty! *sighs* ^_^

Okay, I've solved my "people with ability" crisis ^_^;

I'm going to call them "Stranger"s as in, the way Kyoko

is a Time Stranger. I think that's the best way. And it'll

be with a capital S so it's not to be confused with the normal

stranger word.

Mmm but I have another "problem" ^_^;; The Staff usually talks

in a very "masculine" tone.. You know, with the "ze" suffixes

and the "neejan" type uses.. And it sounds very ummm "rude" so

I'm trying to sort of make the Staff talk that way o_O

Oh and the first narration, seems to be Sakataki but I don't

know so I'll leave it as "narration".

Chapter 2 -- Travelling over time

(Toki wo Koete)

(Image of sleeping Ui)

Narration: If you gather the 12 God Stones and the 12 Strangers

then the giant clock will move and Princess Ui will awaken from

her 16 year slumber.

Sakataki: So, Kyoko-sama, let's do our best!! (small print) Go, go, go!

(note: It actually says "ei ei ou" which is just a kind of cheering

thing and I don't know the equivalent in English so I'll leave it as

"go go go")

Kyoko: Twelve Stones and twelve people... [rolling around] It's too much

of a hassle.

Sakataki: [shocked] Princess!! (small print) Where did your high spirits

go from last chapter!?

Kyoko: [with staff] Well this staff won't tell me anything! Not even the

places of the Stones or the Strangers! How can I be in high spirits? [sighs]

Staff: You are using me, the Space-time stone, which makes you the leader

of the 12 Strangers. For that reason you must find everything on your own

with your human nature {could be "instincts"}, rather than depending on me.

[Chokora desperately grabbing for the staff]

Chokora: [with paws out] Kyoko! I'd like to borrow that!

Kyoko: What? Chokora, what are you going to use it for?

Chokora: (small print) As a fishing rod.

Kyoko: (small print) Request withdrawn.

King: [reading the User's Manual? a book of some kind] Although Staff, if you

don't even give Kyoko a hint then she will have nothing to work on.

Staff: [panicking] Uh uhh, but oh, but that... It's for Kyo.. Kyo.. Kyo.. Kyo..

Kyoko's sake.

Kyoko: [looking suspiciously at the Staff] Maybe you do not even know anything?

[Staff has sweatdrop]

Hizuki: Ah I see, everything was just a front!

Sakataki: Well, it is only made out of a stone and wood.

King: Seeing as it was a talking Staff, I led myself to believe it had some

intelligence.

Chokora: [beams] I love chocolate--- (heart mark)

[Staff trembles]

Staff: [shouts angrily] Shut up----!!!

[Blows everyone away]

Staff: God Stones generally have their radiance sealed to prevent misuse!

Either I break the seal or get close to it, so I don't know a hell

of a lot about anything! ... Oi!

[Chokora puts a fishing lure on it]

Staff: [angrily] What the hell is this cat doing putting a lure on me!!

Chokora: Fishing rod. Fishing rod. I'm going to fish chocolate with this!

[Chokora walks away with the Staff]

Staff: Chocolate!? You're not going to be fishing fish!?

King: (small print) Come back here

Sakataki: The person who uses the Space-time Stone is called a Time Stranger...

So what can you do at this point in time? (small print) A simple question.

Kyoko: Umm well, stopping time... And stopping time.. And I guess stopping

time.. oh, and stopping time!!

[Hizuki and Sakataki count]

[Kyoko laughs]

Hizuki: Right! She's already got 4 powers, that's great.

Sakataki: It will aid her greatly in finding the other Strangers and Stones.

Kyoko: Aaaah! I don't even get a chance to cut in!!? Sakataki, you seriously

haven't realised, have you!?

(note: I'm not totally sure on the last sentence)

Hizuki: I'm sorry princess, so you only have one power of stopping time.

Kyoko: Don't say that!

[A snake glistens its eyes]

[It opens its mouth behind Kyoko]

Kyoko: ?

[The snake eats up Kyoko with Widoshiiku and black haired guy riding on it]

[Black haired guy is drinking tea]

Widoshiiku: [pointing triumphantly] Ha ha ha ha! Princess Kyoko has been captured!!

Sakataki: The thieves gang, "The Smashers"!!

Hizuki: Ahh Widoshiiku san, hello.

Widoshiiku: [thundering away on snake] I will take the Princess to be my wife!!

And everyday I will get her to make me miso soup with different ingredients and

a blending of Japanese and European style snacks at 3 {o'clock}!!

[Sakataki and Hizuki watch silently]

Tanemura's note: [for Sakataki] He's thinking "That's impossible for the Princess

to do!"

[for Hizuki] He's thinking "He must be pretty old to be thinking

in such detail about _____ {something about marriage?}"

King: [shouting] Just hurry up and chase after them!!!

(in a building)

(a sign on the door says "VIP Room")

[Kyoko is thrown onto a couch]

Kyoko: He.. Hey, where am I!?

Widoshiiku: This, is *my* most favourite store! By the way, it's also a VIP room!!

Kyoko: V... VIP room??

Widoshiiku: Well it's a customer priority treatment room. In other words...

[He leans closer to Kyoko] No one will come. No one will disturb us. Even if you

scream loudly! I'm going to strip you!

Kyoko: [thinks] No....!! [screams] Noo----!!

[Sakataki and Hizuki running]

Sakataki: !

[Door slams open]

Sakataki: Kyoko sama!!

[Kyoko dressed in a pretty dress and Widoshiiku fixing it up]

[Sakataki skids face first into the room]

Kyoko: It's so cuuute! [with hand on cheek] Oooooh I was wondering where this was!

It's the head office of my most favourite clothing brand, "Ai*Shii"!

[Sakataki and Hizuki with sweatdrops on the floor]

Tanemura's note: Widoshiiku did her hair too

Text: Dress 78000 yen

Bandana 2800 yen

Necklace 12000 yen

Sakataki: Princess! What are you doing!!

Text: Shoes 39000 yen

Kyoko: Oh, Sakataki and Hizuki! So? What do you think? Do I look okay?

Sakataki: I'm asking you what you're doing!!

Hizuki: We must purchase this dress. You suit this dress so much, it is as if

this dress was made for you.

Kyoko: [blushing] Oh!

Sakataki: [with sweatdrop] Brother!

Widoshiiku: Kyoko... you're so cute. Let's get married with you wearing that dress!

Kyoko: Wha... [blushing, holding hands to heart and with sparkles behind]

Sakataki: Princess, don't be so easily seduced!!

[Sakataki glares]

Sakataki: [grabbing Widoshiiku by the collar] You are an extreme intrusion into the

Princess' life. You will die.

Widoshiiku: Oh my, how scary. Aieeee!

[Sakataki and Widoshiiku fight]

Kyoko: Let's go home.

Hizuki: Right.

(Kyoko is now changed back)

Voice: The lace design is missing!?

[People bowing apologetically in front of some guy]

Guy: That's no good!! That is something drawn from the family predecessor and is something

very special, do you know!?

Workers: I'm sorry! The safe was open while we were not aware!

Kyoko: [to a girl] Umm, did something happen?

Girl: Oh.. well our store's treasured lace design has disappeared.

Guy: [crying] The high grade lace S-951.. The pride of our infamous clothing brand, "Ai*Shii"

It was also a momento of what my father had left me..

Kyoko: [gasp] He.. He must be....

Girl: He is our managing designer, Yumi sensei.

Kyoko: [bashful] Oh, I.. I'm Yumi sensei's fan! Can I shake hands with you?

Yumi: Oh, okay.

[Kyoko shakes hands with him, both smiling]

[After shaking hands with her, he wipes his hand with a hankie]

[Kyoko SD under a spotlight]

Kyoko: [thinks] Heh.... What a snob. [looking at her hand] That's strange. In the image

of his work, he seems so loving but the real one seems so cold. (small print) I wonder

if they're supposed to be like that.

Kyoko monologue: Oh well, what a pity. I would have once wanted to see "Ai*Shii"s S-951...

Yumi: Aaah! What am I to do! It was the lace to be used for a dress, ordered personally

from the Royal Family!!

[Kyoko is devastated]

Kyoko: [standing weirdly] What? What? Is that, by any chance, Princess Kyoko's dress?

Tanemura's note: She's in a weird pose because she's startled.

Girl: Yes, it is.

[Kyoko is horrified]

[Kyoko slams a door open]

Kyoko: [shouts] Staffy!

(note: Kyoko calls it "Tsue chon" and umm.. I don't know an English equivalent to "chon"

Alexa, can you think of something cute/funny sounding as a nickname for the Staff?)

Staff: Don't call me Staffy! Not Staffy! I have a proper name, "Time Scorpian Cane"...

Kyoko: Hey, I have the ability to manipulate time, right!? Can I travel to the past

or something!? Me, going to the past!

Staff: Well.... you can't not do it...

[Hizuki walks in]

Hizuki: Princess, whatever is the matter?

Kyoko: [crying] Wah... ugg.. My dress, lace it disappeared..

Hizuki: Okay, okay, calm down and repeat it.

Kyoko: The lace design that was supposed to be used for the dress I ordered has disappeared!

They can't make the dress...

Staff: Kyoko, don't tell me the reason for you wanting to go back to the past is to get that

design.

Kyoko: [looking stern] Can't I?

Staff: You can't do that. You can't manipulate space and time for your own selfish reasons...

Kyoko: You were just pretending to know stuff and on top of that, you're stingy!

[Staff gets annoyed]

[Hizuki and Kyoko whisper to each other]

Kyoko: And he is so difficult and stubborn.

Hizuki: Truly inflexible.

Staff: [quite annoyed] What are you talking about you spoilt child! Don't you know that even if

only you go back to the past, history will change!? As if I could let you go that easily!!

Kyoko: Stiiingy, stiiiingy.

Voice: No! I haven't stolen it!!

[Kyoko listens]

Girl (from before): You know I am sensei's first apprentice!? I would never do such a thing to

betray sensei!

Yumi: Then who else would have taken it! You took advantage of the fact that you knew that lace was

not known to the rest of society and decided to announce it as your own design, weren't you!?

Girl: [starts to cry] .... How horrible. As a designer, I'm still inexperienced but I still have my

pride! There may be people who will do that for fame. But that's not me because I just love

designing! I thought sensei would have... understood how I felt!

[Girl runs off]

Yumi: Miwa! Miwa!

Workers: Sensei, that was horrible of you! Miwa loved sensei more than anyone else!

And then to call her a thief!

Yumi: [looking regretful] .... Shut up! Shut up! Let those who want to leave do whatever they want!

I'm busy, having to have to design a replacement design!!

[Slams door of a room]

[Time passes while Yumi is designing]

[Gets up]

Yumi: [looking embarrassed] Aaaargh ugh! All right, all right!

Workers: [peeping through door] Oh, you're going to apologise as we thought.

[Miwa is crying]

Voice: Why are you crying?

Miwa: [turning] Sensei!?

[Kyoko dressed up looking like Yumi]

Miwa: Gahh! You're not him!!

Kyoko: [undoing dress up] Why are you crying? Because you're sad that sensei accused you?

Miwa: ..... No. Sensei is in a slump right now and he is annoyed that he can't draw any good

designs. I knew it, but I couldn't understand him and I'm upset.

Kyoko: You are very kind. If the way you feel towards sensei is that strong, then I'm sure it

has gotten through to him. Sensei didn't really accuse you because he believed so. Let's return

to the shop.

Miwa: [sobbing] I... can't return.. It's true that I stole the design... I stole it..

Kyoko: [shouting] What!? Why!?

Miwa: Because of that, sensei is in a slump! It's the fault of that "great" lace, designed

by the family predecessor!! Because he believes that that is "great", he can not draw any other

designs.... Also, he is so influenced by it that he can only draw something similar to it..

It might have been a tough thing to do, but I thought that losing it would be for the good of

sensei...

Kyoko: [pulling Miwa] Then we have to return, more so! Your feelings are wonderful, but your

tactics are a bit awkward. If you apologise and return the design and explain yourself then

you'll be forgiven....

Miwa: It.. It's too late.. I uh.. Already burned it.. [giggles]

Yumi: [from around the corner] Is that true Miwa!?

Miwa: Sensei!? (small print) Are you real this time!?

Kyoko: [thinks] Oh shoot, seems like he only heard the last part

Yumi: [about to hit Miwa] What have yo done!?

Miwa: Kyaaa...

[Kyoko grabs the Staff]

Kyoko: [shouts] Time, halt! [to Staff] Staffy! Let's go to the past!

Staff: Don't make it sound so easy to go, like you're asking me out for karaoke...

Kyoko: Doesn't matter, hurry! [with her finger at her cheek] A cute girl is crying, you know!?

You can't just leave it!!

Staff: ....... Hm.. I'm pleased with you Kyoko. Hold on tight!!

[glow]

Staff: To the time when the design existed. Time slip!!

[They get blasted to the past]

(At some house)

Text: 20 years ago

Voice: Ahh! It's finished!!

(The voice belongs to an old man)

Man (Yumi's father): Yumi! This is the best lace I have drawn so far! It's the birth of the S-951!!

Little Yumi: Congratulations Father!

Father: Right, tonight we'll have a toast! Let's get ready for the party.

[A hand creeps around the window and grabs the design]

[It's Kyoko and she has her finger on her lips]

Kyoko: Hmmm so this is the great "Ai*Shii" lace, huh. It's very cute and sweet, just as I

imagined.

[The sheet has really pretty lace on it]

Kyoko: [with Doraemon hands] Dum da da duum! Digital hand copier!!

(note: For all of you who don't know Doraemon is a story about this cat robot who comes to

the past, from the 30th century. He has this pocket on his belly and always pulls out handy

inventions and always says the invention as he pulls it out... Like Kyoko did just then ^^;;

Um, you have to sort of know it to get it)

Kyoko: I'll input the design into it and then print out a copy of it with the computer.

Oh and I'll have one of these blank pieces of paper! And if I print it out on our time's paper,

then it looks just like the real thing!! With this, Miwa chan can return to the shop!

[Kyoko smiles happily]

Staff: Are you sure this is okay? This way that store manager is never going to grow up.

Kyoko: Uhhmm... Well, there is that.. but..

[Little Yumi runs out of the house]

Little Yumi: [smiling] Right! One day, *I'll* design lace that's better than Father!!

[Kyoko turns]

[A breeze comes and blows Yumi's designs from his book]

Little Yumi: Wahh! Oh no, they flew away.

[They fall over to some trees]

Little Yumi: [sad] I quite like that.. Oh well, I guess it can't be helped...

[Kyoko jumps out and picks up the sheet]

[Kyoko looks at the design]

(The design is really cute, but not very well done ^^; "Rose" is misspelt and fixed)

Staff: He's not very good.

Kyoko: [laughs] Yeah. But it's very cute and delightful.

(They go back to the present)

[Yumi is frozen in the position, about to hit Miwa]

[Yumi's hand moves to strike, but Kyoko stops his hand with the Staff]

Kyoko: Okay, that's enough.

[With Little Yumi's design]

Kyoko: Dear me Yumi sensei, your lost design is right here.

Yumi: Wha... What?

Kyoko: Here you go.

[Looks at the design]

Yumi: What is this scribble...? How is this the thing I lost! Hm... Wait a minute.. [fixes glasses]

I've seen this pattern somewhere before.. Hm?

[Yumi recognises it]

Yumi: This was my scribbling from when I was a child!!

Kyoko: [smiling] This is something precious that you have lost.

[Yumi stares]

Monologue: The precious... Dream of your own power to draw. During the busy days, you must

have forgotten... The fact that you're doing "something that you love". Human interactions bother

you... And even your hands are so cold... But please, remember. You can always find something you

have lost.

Kyoko: [smiling with hands together] This is among the most sweetest lace from my favourite

"Ai*Shii" designs. For my dress, I would like this lace... No, an arranged lace design made from

this lace, a new lace design, to be used.

Yumi monologue: That's right. All I ever wanted to draw was... Something unique in all the world,

my very own "beautiful".

Yumi: [smiling to Kyoko] Your order has been heard.

[Miwa is teary and runs into Yumi's back]

Miwa: I'm sorry sensei! For burning the design... I'm terribly sorry!!

Yumi: It's all right Miwa. Thanks to you, I've understood.. I had made limits for myself... Thank

you. You are my most prided apprentice and an important teacher for my heart...

Yumi: [to Kyoko] Oh, and allow me to thank you also. What is... your name?

Kyoko: Kyoko! Suomi Kyoko!

Yumi: Hmm? That name... from somewhere..

[Hizuki appears]

Hizuki: Princess! We must return to the palace or the King will be worried.

[Yumi and Miwa freeze and stare]

Yumi and Miwa: What? Princess??

Kyoko: [posing] Yes! I'm Earth Nation's First Princess, Kyoko chan!

Hizuki: Princess, please hurry!

[Yumi ans Miwa are shocked]

Yumi and Miwa: What~~~~~~!?

(Two figures are still fighting)

Kyoko: Hm? Is Sakataki *still* fighting with Widoshiiku?

Hizuki: It appears so. He's been fighting for 23 pages now.

(At the castle)

Kyoko: Kyaa~~

(Kyoko is wearing a pretty dress)

Kyoko: As I thought, Yumi sensei's dresses are always so honest! It feels like they're so serene.

Kyoko: [giggling] And I gained another power as a Time Stranger, so I feel very good!

Hizuki: Hm? What power did you gain?

Kyoko: [happily] Travelling through time... Travelling through time, oh and I think travelling

through time!

Hizuki: [bopping Kyoko on the head] Princess, bop!

[Sakataki notices]

Kyoko: Right, if we keep at it this way we'll find the other Stones and Strangers! Yeah!

Sakataki: Princess!

Kyoko: Hm? What is it Sakataki? (small print) The toilet?

Sakataki: [bowing] (small print) No! (Normal speech) If you can slip through time... There is a

place I would like you to take me to! The day of when.... My village...

Sakataki: [looks up] The Ryuuzoku were destroyed!
