Hmm I had trouble translating the chapter title, but I think
it turned out okay. I like the way it sounds.
"Kitto" means "surely" or
"undoubtedly", that kind of thing
and the actual chapter title... Aiee Japanese is so
annoying sometimes ^^;; The title isn't even an actual
sentence, so if I translate it literally then in English it
sounds really ungrammatical and pooey. "There"
isn't
even part of the title, but I added so it makes more
sense in English but I think it sounds quite okay.
"Will Be A Beautiful Love Song" doesn't quite
sound
as right ^^;
This chapter is so sad *sob* And also, the ending
is kind of weird. I mean it's not weird, it's supposed to
be sad and touching I think but it just.... Hmm I'll
explain it at the end ^^;;
Maybe once I get Feb Ribon it will make more sense!
Oh and um.. is there an actual medical name for having
a phobia of boys/males? I have a feeling there is, but
I just don't know it. It might sound a bit better having
"___phobia" instead of "phobia of boys"
but oh well ^^
Oh and Karen speak in "third person" like Miyu
from
Gals, often does.
Oh (again ^^;) and Tanemura sensei seems to have
some obsession with bowling in this chapter.... o_O

(12 year old Kyoko and Karen talking)
Lil Kyoko: What!? Karen, you've got a phobia of boys!?
Lil Karen: Mm-hmm. If I touch a boy, then I start to cry
unconsciously or get rashes. (note: Karen actually gets eczema, not just "rashes" but I
figured that maybe many people wouldn't know what exactly
eczema is (um well I
didn't know! x_x) so I just changed it.)
Lil Kyoko: Really...
Lil Karen: But Karen is fine with it. I don't want a boyfriend
and I'll never marry. It will be enough for Karen just to
always be with Kyoko chan.
(Present time)
(Karen's house - a huge mansion!)
Kyoko: What!? Karen has a boyfriend!?
Maids: Yes, about one month ago with Kikurage Mitsuru sama..
Kyoko: What!?
Maids: But since then she has not returned to the mansion and
we've been having trouble.
Kyoko: What!? Who's Kikurage? (small print) He's not a guy from
class is he!?
Sakataki: Kikurage Mitsuru, 22 years old, a collector of
rare items.
Hizuki: He is a prominent asset to the metropolitan area. Perfect
for the well brought up Karen san!
(note: Not sure about prominent asset... It could be Kikurage
who's an asset, or he owns heaps of assets cos he's rich =D)
Kyoko: It's not "perfect!"---!!
[Kyoko chucks a bowling ball at Saka and Hizu, bowling them
over]
Kyoko: [throwing a tantrum] It doesn't matter how love-love she
is! She's the head of the clan, she can't be absent for one month!! (small print)
She's even absent from school (that I want to go to but I
can't!)
Staff: We came here thinking that maybe Karen was another
Stranger... but..
Kyoko: [changing out of clothes and into something else] This was
unexpected!!
(small print) Kyoko mini shock!!
Kyoko: [changed in army gear] An immediate assault to the
Kikurage residence!!
We're going to bring back Karen!!
[Karen holds a hand grenade ^^;]
Sakataki: Ohhh dear... She's being openly jealous.
Hizuki: Of course you'd run to a man if you'd been left for one
month by the smothering Kyoko sama.
(small print) Chokora: Serves you right, being jealous!
[Kyoko bowls them over with the bowling ball again]
(at the Kikurage residence)
Karen: All done!
[She's finished cooking]
Karen: Now all I need to do is to boil down the soup! Good job! I
wish Mitsuru san would come home soon!
[Karen dances around]
[The door slams open and Kyoko appears]
[She bowls Karen over]
Kyoko: Hello newly weds!!
Karen: Aaah!
Kyoko: [angrily] Ka~~re~~n cha~~~~~n I wonder what you're doing
here?
Karen: Oh! Kyoko chan, it's been a while! (small print) Are you
well?
Kyoko: What do you mean "it's been a while!"!! What are you doing
being love-dazed, leaving your own clan! Come on! We're
going home!
(small print) Karen: N. O.
(small print) Chokora: Copying!?
(note: I think it means copying, although I know the real word
means "small profit", I just don't think it means that... I think it's slang, Ran in
Gals has used it before meaning copying I think? Or
stealing, at least.)
Kyoko: [holding up graffitied omlette] If you don't come home,
I'll add a "yaki" to the "suki" {love}
you wrote on your omlette!! {incomplete speech}
(small print) He actually wants to eat suki yaki {type of dish}
but he's bankrupt so he can't and he'll lead himself to believe that this is suki
yaki!
(note: Kyoko actually says more, "mieppari na jikoshuchou
shiteyaruwayo!!" but I can't figure out how to translate it... "mieppari" means
pretentious or to show off, "jikoshuchou" means
self assertion... and "shityaru
wayo" means to make somebody do something... And it
doesn't make any sense...
"If you don't come home, I'll add a "yaki" to
the "suki" you wrote on your
omlette and I'll make you pretentiously self
assertive"??? ;_; I don't get it....)
Karen: Don't~~~!! Kyoko chan you bully~~~!! (small print) Adding
weird phrases!
Karen: I'm not actually staying away from home because I'm
love-dazed! Don't! Don't!
Kyoko: [still with the graffitied omlette] Oh really? What reason
DO you have then?
(a flower garden)
Kyoko: A golden rose garden....!?
Karen: This is Mitsuru san's collection. He's very busy so I've
been asked to take care of them.
(small print) Which is why I can't come home.
Sakataki: [wearing a rose crown Hizuki has made] Can't you leave
it to the machines?
Karen: Mitsuru san told me that "they grow with a much more
pleasant expression when
somebody takes care of them with love". Flowers are like a part
of me so I couldn't just leave them...
[Kyoko smiles]
Kyoko: [thinks] "One with kindness, manipulating flowers". I
really do think it's Karen.
Kyoko: Karen, do you have any stones or something?
Karen: Stones? Why, are you going to pickle something?
Kyoko: No, I mean do you have any family charms or treasured
item!!
Karen: I don't have a stone, but I have a treasured item.
[A flowery thing appears in Karen's hand]
Karen: The fantasy flower of the heavens, "Saint Lovers". For
generations, it has been passed on to the head of the
Hanazoku.
Kyoko: [thinks] A flower... It might be similar to a stone, but
it might not be suitable.
Kyoko: Do you have any other...
Voice: I'm home.
Kyoko: [scowls] [thinks] Eww! Kikurage Mitsuru!
Tanemura's note: Jealousy.
Kikurage: Oh, are they your friends?
Karen: Mi.. Mitsuru san, this person is.....!
Kyoko: [cutting Karen short] Suomi Kyoko, a cheery and shy 16
year old, Gemini and blood type A!
Kikurage: Kyoko chan will you like to see my collection? (small
print) Like Ai*Shii clothes.
[Kikurage opens a door]
Kyoko: What! Really!?
(small print) Kikurage: Of course, go on.
[He closes the door, which happens to be the front door]
Tanemura's note: Selfishness.
Kikurage: Karen! I told you not to bring anybody to this
house!
Karen: [runs] But even still, that's horrible! Kyoko chan!!
(small print) How rude towards the princess!
Karen: Sorry Kyoko chan! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!
Kyoko: Karen... I'm sorry, but WHAT DO YOU SEE IN THAT GUY!?
Karen: [blushing] Oh! If I tell you, then Kyoko chan will fall in
love with Mitsuru san too!
[Kyoko falls to her knees]
(small print) Kyoko: Lo.. love dazed....
Karen: [smiles] I was okay when I.... touched him. See, if I
touch a man...
[Karen pokes Sakataki]
[Karen bursts into tears]
Karen: I start to cry unconsciously. But with him, I was
fine
even with my phobia of men.
I was fine. This means that he's the one I'm destined to be with
doesn't it?
[Karen smiles happily]
(back at the palace)
[Kyoko sits in the spotlight, depressed]
Kyoko: ......
King: What's the matter, what's Kyoko moping about.
Sakataki: She couldn't bring back Karen san after all.
Hizuki: It's a very typical scenario of girls to be absorbed in
their boyfriends and ignore
their friends!
(small print) Sakataki: That's not a very good follow up,
brother.
Chokora: If she wants Karen, Chokora will be her!
[Chokora is dressed up as Karen]
Staff: Oi Kyoko! Why aren't you saying a word about it! You
should at least go and check if she really is a Stranger!!
Kyoko: I'm sorry.
Staff: [thinks] So honest!?
Kyoko monologue: I wonder if Karen thinks it's more fun to be
with Kikurage than to play with me. Maybe she doesn't need
me...
(note: Kyoko is quite childish even for a 16 year old ^^; I mean
"play" isn't exactly the right term maybe, but I think it's what Kyoko really does think.
That she and Karen would always be playing together just
like children.)
Kyoko: To tell the truth, I'm a little lonely but it's what Karen
decided on her own and she was always so dependent on me. She's trying hard to find
happiness. So I wanted to leave her be right now.
Kyoko monologue: It doesn't matter if you don't need me. It
doesn't matter about who she loves. All I want is for Karen
to always be smiling.....
(small print) Hizuki: Well done Princess!
(small print) Kyoko: Mm. Pat me more.
(small print) Sakataki: Karen san will come to play
sometime!
Kyoko: [thinks] Love... huh. Come to think of it, it was either
Sakataki or Hizuki who kissed me while I was asleep.... Which means one of them is in
love with me...?
[Kyoko blushes]
Kyoko: !
Kyoko: [thinks] Aaaaah! I really don't understand love~~!
[King looks at her weirdly]
(small print) Kyoko: Waaah~~~! And the kiss felt gross~~! I'm
never doing that again!
(note: poor Kyoko ^^;; She thinks kissing is gross? But what if
it was Sakataki!? I'll swap! XD)
[A maid runs into the room]
Maid: Your highness! Princess! Princess Ui's condition....!
(in Ui's room)
[Ui is breathing heavily and looks like she has a fever]
Priest Toron: It seems that the shock Princess Kyoko went through
a few days ago is the same that Princess Ui is going through
now.
King: Kyoko recovered quickly but Ui has no physical strength so
she couldn't handle it....
Priest Toron (or King?): We can not find all Strangers at once,
but at least even one more will have to be found to give Princess Ui some strength. For the
mean time, Sakataki, stand by the clock and give her
strength!
Sakataki: Yes!
[Kyoko runs off]
Sakataki: Ah! Princess...!
Hizuki: Sakataki kun, leave it to me!
(Kikurage residence)
Kyoko: [slams door open] Karen! Can you come to the palace right
now! Even if it's for a while!
[The house is silent]
Kyoko: Huh? Are they not home? But they didn't even lock....
[Some familiar looking figures sneak by]
Kyoko: ....... And what the hell are you doing!?
[Kyoko grabs Widoshiiku's collar]
Widoshiiku: Silly question, we're thieves! (small print) Welcome
"The Smashers"~~!
Black haired dude: Young lady, will you please remove those
hands!
[He holds a sword at Kyoko]
Kyoko: Aaaaaah!
Widoshiiku: Ginga!
Ginga (formerly known as black haired dude): Although you are the
princess, I will not forgive you for harming Widoshiiku
sama.
Kyoko: Hello, WE'RE the ones always being harmed!!
Widoshiiku: If you're looking for Kikurage, he's gone to the
black market auction.
(small print) That's why we came to steal his collection!
Kyoko: Black market auction!? He does that sort of thing!?

her body".
Kyoko: [thinks] It cant be.....!?

Kyoko: That's horrible.... She's being sold by the person who
she's destined to be with....
Widoshiiku: Oh! I thought it would be Karen chan~~! (small print)
Maybe I'll buy her!
Kyoko: [grabs Widoshiiku by the collar] Hey! Where are they doing
that!?
(small print) Ginga: Oi.
Widoshiiku: I can't tell you that easily. If you kiss me, maybe
I'll say! (small print) Yeah right..
[Kyoko kisses Widoshiiku]
Widoshiiku: !
Kyoko: [frowns] Now! Tell me quickly!
[Widoshiiku stares at Kyoko]
Widoshiiku: [grins] Very well then! Come!!
[Hizuki watches from the door... *wah it's scary Hizuki
again!*]
(it's raining outside a large hall)
Karen: Wow! That's a large hall! Is this where we're watching our
opera Mitsuru san?
Kikurage: That's right.
Karen: It's been a while since we had a date! I'm so happy!
Kikurage: Just sit here and wait for me, okay?
Kikurage: [whispers to a female figure standing by] Take care of
it.
Female figure: [whispers back] Yes.
Man: Ah K2, I'm looking forward to your item today.
Kikurage: Put a good price on it will you. [thinks] Sorry
Karen,
but this is for the money and for my job.
Announcer: And now is today's jackpot item, "a ballerina who can
bring out a fantasy flower from her body"!!
[The stage shows a shell shaped bed with.... Chokora still
dressed up as Karen!]
Announcer: Ohhh now this is very lovely!!
Bidders: Two billion!
Four billion!
Ten billion!
Kikurage: No! This isn't Karen!! Who are you!!
[From behind the stage is the announcer - Kyoko! And she was the
female figure from before!]
Kyoko: Earth Nation's First Princess, Suomi Kyoko! You don't
deserve Karen! I'm taking her back, Kikurage!!
Bidders: It's Princess Kyoko! Princess Kyoko!? Run!!
Kyoko: All buyers here are arrested!!
[At the door stands Hizuki with a microphone]
Hizuki: [announces] Ding dong, ding dong! All doors have been
surrounded by lasers and anyone who touches them will evaporate into nothingness! We won't
let you get away.
Karen: Mitsuru san... Were you trying to sell me? Did you ask me
to take care of the rose garden as an excuse to keep me
here...?
Kikurage: No, that's not true! Aren't I the partner who destiny
chose for you!?
Kyoko: [frowns] And what does that matter? Even if she doesn't
cry because of her phobia, if you make her cry by hurting
her then it's the same!!
Karen: Kyoko chan....
Kyoko: Hizuki, I'll let you take care of the rest!
[Jumps into a fountain with Karen which leads to the
outside]
Kikurage: Wa.. Wait!!
[Kikurage jumps in after them]
[Kyoko and Karen surface and scramble onto land]
Kyoko: Phew! I'm glad that the back of the place was a
river~~!
Karen: It's flooding from all the rain... It looks like the flood
gates are going to burst...
Kikurage: [still in the river] Wa... Wait...
[The flood gates burst]
Kikurage: Aaaaah!
Karen: Mitsuru san!!
[Karen grabs his hand]
Kikurage: ! Karen... You saved me? Even though I had been
deceiving you all along...
[Karen smiles]
Karen: Actually, I.... I knew about everything. While I was
cleaning up the study room, I found the catalogue for the auction. I found out that I was
going to be sold as a collector's item....
(note: That's the reason behind the scene we saw at the end of
the last chapter, which was why Karen was crying. The flashback scene shows her
wearing the same clothes as that same scene when she is
crying.)
[Kyoko is teary]
Karen: But I hoped that one day maybe you'd love me so much that
you wouldn't want to sell me off. Because I believe you were the one I was destined
to be with. Although, it didn't quiet work out. [giggles] But it was fun.
Even if it was false, you were kind to me.... And you smiled at me... And you gave me those
roses... You taught me what a blessing it is to fall in love with someone. That's why I
can still want to love again. Thank you.
[The Saint Lovers flower suddenly glows]
Karen: !
Kyoko: The Saint Lovers is reacting to Karen!!
[Kyoko is hurriedly getting changed]
Staff: It's awakened! The centre of the flower was the
stone!
Kyoko: As Time Stranger Suomi Kyoko, I command!! Blooming pride,
that kind heart. Dance and scatter, the flower of a billion. Answer to my mind,
and dance!!
(note: Not quite sure about all of that, esp. the flower of a
billion thing o_O)
[Karen is surrounded by light, Kikurage falls to the ground]
Kyoko: Awaken! Flower Stranger KAREN!
[Karen posing as a Stranger, she holds a staff with a bud/blossom
like shape]
Staff: Karen! Use flowers to stop the flooding!!
Karen: Even though I'm the head of the Hanazoku, I can't do
that.
Kyoko: Now you can!! Just pray in your heart, whatever you want
and shout some words like an incantation!!
Karen: Ummm~~~~~
[Karen thinks]
Karen: Karen Flower Carolina!
[A huge mass of petals soak up the flood water]
(at the palace)
[Ui's room? She lays there surround by roses]
Karen: Wow! Mitsuru san's roses...!
King: I heard you were going to live with us, so we got these
sent here. This seems to be the only thing that wasn't stolen by the thief
gang.
(small print) I spread them around Ui.
Kyoko: There was a letter with them.
Contents of letter:
Dear Karen
Once
I have served my sentence, I will once again
start
my rare item collection.
But
this time, it will not be in the darkness and instead,
I
wish to smile like a flower under the sun.

[Karen smiles]
Karen: Okay! I'll give Princess Ui my strength!
Kyoko: Karen. I can use my power to go back to the past and then
we can find out the reason why you have a phobia of men, you know? Then
we might be able fix it?
Karen: No, I don't want to fix it. This time I'm not going
to find someone who
I won't show symptoms to. Even if I do get them, then I'm going
to find someone who I can love enough that the pain will be nothing. Fate won't
decide it, I will be the one to decide. And the Saint Lovers flower is said to be a
charm of love!
Kyoko: .... [smiles] If I was a guy, then I would have
definitely fallen for you.
You've endured a lot. I love you Karen, trying your best.
[Karen looks kind of depressed]
Kyoko: I guess we ought to sing a song!
[Kyoko starts to sing]
[Karen holds Kyoko's hand and cries]

If you see it, it looks weird... Doesn't it? Or has my sense of
being moved malfunctioned after the continual touching scenes from last chapter and before?
o_O
And is that really Karen's hand holding Kyoko's hand? That's what
I think, but you never know. And is Karen crying as an emotion, or is she crying because
of her phobia?
Yes, I know it's a stupid thing to imply.... But to me it
just doesn't seem simple.. maybe
I'm looking into it too deeply x_x Well, maybe Karen's just
crying because Kyoko said if she was a guy, she would have fallen for Karen. That's it
isn't it? Just ignore those silly things I just said.....

But anyway, there's something that's bothered me. The way Arina
sensei makes her
characters "seem" like they don't know what's going on, but then
they say "oh, actually..."
When it happens, it always looks kind of "fake" to me..... o_O
(yes, it's rant-o-rama
time) I mean what happened in this chapter is okay, because we
had evidence from the
previous chapter. So it was actually good. But like in KKJ, the
thing with Fin? It looked
"fake" to me. The way Fin was evil, and said "oh i hate you
maron" and then later
on, she says "i was lying, i really do love you maron".... It
just all seemed so fake...
Just something that bothered me... ^^; And why am I ranting about
KKJ at the end of
a TSK chapter translation!? No idea x_x
