First of all, let me apologise for the lack of translations x_x

And thanks to all of you for your lovely e-mails! I appreciate

them a lot ^_^

I'll be doing up til the April chapter, but from then on I'm not

sure what will happen. After April, I have exams so I will be

busier than I have been now so I'm not sure if and when I'll

even be able to use the computer to do anything at all o_O

I have holidays over Easter, so hopefully I'll be able to discuss

things with Alexa about what will happen.

TSK is getting more confusing and weird and whatnot and to

tell you the truth, I can't handle it! ^^;; *whines*

I like KKJ better~~ But, nevertheless, I shall try my best

to make accurate translations ^^ Sakataki is still the best

and Chokora is adorable =D Funny how I don't find the main

heroine my favourite ^^;;

Oh oh oh oh oh!!!!! And I haven't been following the Ribon ML

much, but I did browse through the digests and read stuff about

how you were all puzzled by Kyoko's pointed ears. Well, *evil

laugh* that will be revealed soon. Unless somebody already

figured it out ^^; Er.. oh well..

Well, I apologise to all of you for being such a slack and unreliable

translator *_* I'm sorry!!

Chapter 6 -- The Empire of Sand · The Pleasure Garden of Water

(Suna no Teikoku · Mizu no Rakuen)

(Kyoko and co are travelling in a large blimp like thing over a desert)

Voice: The Kirito Clan leaders are Strangers!?

Kyoko: Uh huh. What Sakataki and Karen both had in common was the fact

that they were both the head of each of their respective clans. It's only a

hypothesis, but for the time being we'll have to use that to find the

Strangers.

Sakataki: So that's why we're heading to the desert to the Snake Clan.

Hizuki: And nearby is the Fish Clan so we're killing two birds with one stone.

(Kyoko looks at a map)

Kyoko: But according to a rumour, the two clans used to get along well but

recently they've had arguments.... (small print) I wonder if it'll all go well.

[Widoshiiku jumps onto the blimpy ship]

Widoshiiku: [hugs Kyoko] Kyoko! You're cheerful and cute today as usual!!

Kyoko: Nyaaa!!

[Sakataki walks defensively to Widoshiiku]

Sakataki: [with his Crystal Rod thingy] You'd better quit doing that, I'll

seriously kill you!!

Widoshiiku: You should also stop ruining other people's romance! Me and Kyoko

are already at the point of the relationship where we've kissed.

[Sakataki stares, then grins]

Sakataki: So, you don't know. Earth Nation Law number 2, section 13.

"Anyone who is not approved as a partner may not touch the royal family

with emotions of love". [points at Widoshiiku] Forcibly stealing the princess'

lips is a serious crime worthy of punishment by death!! Along with all of your

present larceny, you will be punished at once!!

Widoshiiku: [grinning] Tsk, tsk, tsk. I wasn't the one who kissed her. Kyoko

was the one who kissed me.

[Sakataki stares]

[Widoshiiku is suffering concussion at the side of the ship]

Kyoko: What happened to him?

Sakataki: Lying is the end of a thief...

Hizuki: Kyaaa! You're so cool Sakataki kun! You're great!

(small print) Chokora: Great!

[A pair of pretty snake eyes stare at them]

Kyoko, Sakataki and co: Uh?

Kyoko: Aaaaaah!! It's Widoshiiku's pet snake!

Sakataki: Wait, for Sune chama (note: that's Widoshiiku's pet snake's name)

the eyes seem a little sparkly....(The snake has the name "Anako" written on her, it's a girl btw)

[Anako hits the ship and makes it fall on the ground]

[A bunch of people crowd around]

Guy: We've finally done it!! We've captured the Fish Clan!!

Thanks Anako!! Usually they're deep underwater but it was our luck that they

came from the sky! He---y! I've captured Mizuno---!!

[The guy sees an irritated Kyoko]

Guy: Huh? I thought it was Mizuno but you're just some little weird thing.

Kyoko: Who's a little weird thing--!!

(At a castle)

Guy: I am the head of the Hebizoku (Snake Clan), Sarai Onishi. Sorry for mistaking

you for the Sakanazoku (Fish Clan) and attacking the Royal Family's ship! Uh? What's

up.

[Kyoko and Chokora sit behind Sakataki with the evil look]

Sakataki: They're being wary.

Hiazuki: She's upset about being called a little weird thing.

Sarai: Oh, okay. Well I'll give you some juice so cheer up! It's fine quality frog's blood!

[Kyoko spits out her 'juice']

Kyoko: Don't make me drink weird things! (small print) Well at least tell me what it

is before you make me drink it!

Sarai: Wha~~t! It's really nice you know? Well if you don't like it, sorry! Just laugh

and forgive! But I'd heard you were a princess who'd been cooped up in the depths of

the castle for 16 years so I was expecting how quiet you'd be but you're just a noisy

little kid! [laughs]

[Pats Kyoko on the head]

Kyoko: My, my! I'm insulted!!

Sakataki: Well, well princess. Calm down and let us go into the main question.

Hizuki: Saraittchi! Do you know of the God Stones?

Sarai: Oh yeah, I had it. You mean the Thunder Stone, right? [thinks] Saraittchi?

[Kyoko, Sakatai and Chokora stare at Sarai with huge eyes.... Hizuki has 'forgotten'

to put his on! XD]

Sakataki: What! Really!? (small print) Amazing!!

Hizuki: Does that make Saraittchi the 4th!?

Kyoko: My hypothesis was right on! Quickly, show us the stone!!

Sarai: [folding arms] Well, unfortunately, it got stolen a few days ago by the head

of the Sakanozoku, Mizuno.

Kyoko: [frozen] Noooo!! [hitting Sarai] Why? Why? Why are you people unable to

get along!!

Voice: I shall tell you why.

[Kyoko and Sarai both look at a weird fish thingy in the fountain]

Kyoko and Sarai: !?

Fish thing: His idiotic elder brother... He kidnapped...

A mermaid girl: [shouts] My precious elder brother, so I'm angry!!

Sarai: Mizuno!

Kyoko: What! Her!?

Mizuno: Bring me back my elder brother, Sarai!! Say something, won't you!!

Sarai: Mizuno... [holds her hands] I love you.

[Kyoko falls over]

Sarai: My elder brother has long been missing! So I don't know the whereabouts

of your brother either! Forget that and be with me!

Mizuno: [irritated] No!! You only deserve a little weird girl like her! [points at

Kyoko]

Kyoko: [frowning] Why does everybody...!

Mizuno: Unless you bring back my elder brother, I will never return your

Thunder Stone!!

[Mizuno jumps back into the fountain which joins to the ocean]

Sarai: Aaah! Mizuno! (small print) Don't go!!

(In the background, Sarai: Come baack Miiizuunooo!!! Come baaaack!

Miiizuuuunoooo!)

Kyoko, Sakataki and Chokora: .........

Kyoko: Sakataki... Isn't Sarai a little bit like *him*?

Sakataki: The traditional clan clothes... cheerful... blonde... has more whites

of the eye than the pupil..... and a frank manner... They are similar...

[Meanwhile, Widoshiiku gains consciousness in the ship]

Widoshiiku: Where am I? I got bashed up by Sakataki... and I don't remember

a thing after that. Hey! Kyoko! Do you have anything to eat?

Sarai: Hey.

Widoshiiku: Hey.

Sarai: [points at Widoshiiku] Akira-----!!

Kyoko and Sakataki: What! You pretended to be Widoshiiku but your real

name is Akira!?

Kyoko: I thought you looked alike and you really were brothers.

Sarai: Why you~~! Where were you all this time!?

Widoshiiku: Whaat? Sarai, did you miss your brother so much?

Hizuki: [hugging] Sakataki kuuun!

Sakataki: Wah, don't rival them!

Kyoko: So then Mizuno's elder brother is Ginga, right!? Go call him here

right away!!

Widoshiiku: If you kiss....

[Kyoko kicks him]

Kyoko: You idiot! That was only a one time deal!

(small print) Widoshiiku: Then I won't get him~~!

Sakataki: ! What...?

(A village in the sea)

Servant: Mizuno sama, the investigation of the south sea has been completed.

Mizuno: Because there were so few typhoons this year, the water has warmed

up too much which may have casued the coral to deteriorate....

Servant: Mizuno sama, what should we do.

Other Servant: Osa! (the word for 'chief', 'head of' or 'leader')

Mizuno: ....

Mizuno monologue: I always wonder, at times like these... If only my brother,

who had been aiming to be a doctor... were here.

Mizuno: Sorry, I have to go do something...

[Mizuno wonders over to a wall and then travels through a secret passage]

Mizuno: Lartuone. Lartuone.

(emi's note: I roughly translated the katakana into English, so therefore this name

is not Romaji because it's illegible as English if I wrote the Romaji)

Lartuone: I see, the coral from the south...

Mizuno: What must I do. Could you not give me some strength?

Lartuone: Here, use this secret medicine. You should be able to save some of

the coral which are still alive.

[Lartuone is trapped in some kind of thing, but she passes the medicine through

the barrier]

Mizuno: I'm indebted. Lartuone, I have heard from my father that you have been

trapped here because you committed a crime in the past. But I can not believe that.

You are so kind...

Lartuone: [smiling] Right now I am also regretful of my error in the past. I wish to

be released from here to compensate for my past error.... If you give me the

Thunder Stone...

Mizuno: ...... I'm sorry. Although I may be my elder brother's replacement, I am

still the head of the Sakanazoku. I can not be selfish because of my own personal

feelings. But when the time has come, I will convince the whole clan to release you!

If they all appreciate how your heart has changed, they will all forgive you!!

Lartuone: I see. Thank you Mizuno...

Voice: Mizuno sama---! Where are you? Mizuno sama---!

[Mizuno returns]

Mizuno: What is it? I am here.

Servant (I think he's actally someone important, but oh well): Oh! Mizuno sama,

good news! Sir Akira from the Hebizoku has returned to the village...!

Kyoko: So you won't release Ginga, no matter what?

[Widoshiiku is tied up]

Widoshiiku: Release or not, I never even kidnapped him! When I said that I

was leaving the village, he just tagged along!

Sarai: Then even better, call Ginga and explain that to Mizuno!

Widoshiiku: NO!! That is Ginga's business. It's nothing I need to poke my nose

into!

Sarai: Why you~~~!

Kyoko: Oh well! That means we have to use desperate measures!!

[Kyoko draws in a deep breath]

Kyoko: [screams] Aaaaaaah~~~! Widoshiiku are you all right!! Aaaaah! You're

bleeding so much!! Your hands are maimed and your eyes are falling out, it's as if you're

going to die any moment now!!!

[Ginga comes running along the globe]

Ginga: [wearing an apron, comes skidding into view] Widoshiiku sama! Are you all right!!

Kyoko: Oh, sorry. Where you in the middle of making dinner?

Ginga: Ahh! Your face is that of a fool!!

Widoshiiku: I haven't changed a bit (small print) oi

Ginga: [with sword] You... How dare you let Widoshiiku sama get to this state...

Kyoko: At least take off your apron (small print) You're the fool

Voice: Brother!!

[Mizuno is breathless and crying]

Ginga: Mizuno...

Mizuno: [crying and hugs Ginga] Waaahhh~~~~! My brother!! I wanted to see you!

I wanted to see you!! You've returned to me! I am incredibly happy!

Ginga: Mizuno... I'm sorry, but I won't return to the Sakanazoku. Please forget about me.

[Mizuno stares at Ginga]

Ginga: I have decided to live with Widoshiiku sama for life. I am the Ginga who belongs to

"The Smashers". I am a fool who disowned the Sakanazoku and forced the responsibility

of the chief to you.

Mizuno: No, that's not right!

Ginga: [walking away] Even if I am not here, you will make a fine chief. Good bye.

Mizuno: Wa... Wait! I love you brother!

[Sarai is half shocked]

[Ginga stops]

Mizuno: I don't care if we are blood related...! I love you!! I've only thought of you ever

since I was young! It's a much stronger emotion than "love"! What's happened to your

dream of wanting to be a doctor!! I.... [sobs] The reason why I replaced your position of

chief was because I believed you would come back... Please... come back...

[Ginga walks off]

Mizuno: What has happened, brother... Has your heart also become that of a thief...

Sarai: [cheerfully] Hey, don't get too emotional! You've got me! I really love you Mizuno!

[Mizuno trembles]

Mizuno: ~~~~~! Even at such times like these.... [slaps Sarai with her tail] Don't make

fun of me you moron!! You've never ever loved someone so much that you would die!

That's why you can easily say you love me or even if you're hated, you can easily get

over it!! Don't speak as though you understand! I hate you!!

[Mizuno swims away]

Sarai: Mizuno!

Kyoko: [takes off her top, underneath she's got bathers] Sakataki, let's dive! Get the

oxygen gum ready! Hizuki, go after Ginga!

Hizuki: Yes!

Kyoko: Sarai, let's go! What are you doing, all dazed!!

[Sarai is looking down while Widoshiiku looks at him cheekily]

Sarai: Mizuno... she'll only hate it if I'm there.

Kyoko: Gaaaah! Mizuno is hurt right now!! Even if she won't like it, it's better than

leaving her by herself!! Even if she says she hates you, make her like you! Are you

sure you really love Mizuno!?

Sarai: .... I thought I loved her, but when she puts it like that, I don't know if

I love her so much that I'd die...

Kyoko: You idiot. When she said "I hate you", did your heart feel so crushed that you

thought it would stop? So there you go, that means you love her so much you almost

died, right?

Lartuone: Poor Mizuno... Don't cry.

Mizuno: Brother is only being deceived by Akira. Otherwise he would not turn into such

a bad person...

Lartuone: Would you like me to bring back Ginga?

Mizuno: Lartuone, really...?

Lartuone: Yes... I'll promise you. Now, the Thunder Stone...

[Mizuno swallows hard]

(Kyoko and Sakataki are swimming and see a bright glow)

Kyoko: !?

Lartuone: Aha ha ha ha ha! I'm finally free!!

Kyoko: [thinks] Ugh... It's such a strong current...

[Kyoko gets swept away]

Kyoko: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Sakataki: Princess!!

Mizuno: Lartuone! I didn't tell you to destroy the village!!

Lartuone: A long time ago, I dreamt of controlling the ocean so I stole the

shell which was the symbol of the Sakanazoku's chief... But that shell was unable

to be used without the Thunder Stone which belonged to the then, allies, the Hebizoku.

I was captured while I was powerless.

Mizuno: ....?

Lartuone: Don't you understand? I have been deceiving you just so I could get my

hands on the Thunder Stone....

Sakataki: Princess..! Princess!!

(Sakataki has brought Kyoko over to a cavey place, she's fainted)

Sakataki: Damn.. We have to quickly do something about that monster... But I can't

just leave the princess here...

(flashback) Widoshiiku: Me and Kyoko are already at the point of the relationship

where we've kissed.

Sakataki: !

[As Sakataki leans down to Kyoko, drips of water fall on her face and Kyoko wakes up

just as Sakataki is millimetres away from her face]

[Kyoko skids back, blushing]

Kyoko: Aaaah!

Sakataki: Princess... I'm glad. You've gained consciousness.

Kyoko: So, Sorry. Let's go!!

Kyoko monologue: Just then... He was definitely trying to kiss me. It's no mistake, that

means that the person who kissed me while I was asleep must have been Sakataki!!

Oooh oooh dum dum dum duuuum! Suspense! =D One thing though, Kyoko was swimming

in bathers but Sakataki was fully clothed.... why?? ^^;
