Elo~! ^^ Here's chapter 7, the chapter which has the arrival of 2
new strangers! The next chapter is where Kyoko's pointy ears

sort of revealed =D
Anyway, I've noticed that lately Staffy hasn't been
appearing much ;_;
He's one of my favourite 'characters'! ^^; I wonder if the
stones/staffs will ever turn human =D That would be interesting, but that's
just my own wishful thinking XD

Chapter 7 -- What I Love = I Want to Protect
(Sukinamono = Mamoritai)
Kyoko monologue: He tried to kiss me while I was asleep... Which
means the person who kissed me before was Sakataki!!
Sakataki: Princess?
[Kyoko blushes]
Kyoko: [blushing and bashing up Sakataki] Oooooh! Why didn't you
just say so before! Don't surprise me like that!! Sakataki, you're
such a shy person! You pervert! You mischievous boy!
(note: Sakataki has no idea what she's talking about ^^;)
Sakataki: [stretching Kyoko's face] I thinK I am the one who
doesn't want to be surprised like that!
Kyoko: Ayayayayaya
Sakataki: That woman is using the Thunder Stone to call up a
storm. If we don't do something, both the Sakanazoku and Hebizoku will
perish!
Kyoko: You're right! But the Thunder Stone is sealed so shouldn't
it just be a normal stone? She's not even a Stranger so I wonder if she
can call up a storm?
[Sarai appears from a trapdoor in the wall]
Sarai: About 6 years ago when we had drought, we sacrificed a
snake and prayed for rain. Ever since then, the Thunder Stone has had
this power to change the weather...
Kyoko: [thinks] Don't undo the seal for your own
convenience!!!
[Staffy has a sweatdrop]
Lartuone: From now on, I am the ocean's ruler... So I'm going to
eat you Mizuno... because you're in the way!!
[Lartuone bites Mizuno's shoulder]
Mizuno: Aaaaah!
Kyoko: Mizuno!
[Kyoko and Sakataki both throw Sarai over]
Kyoko and Sakataki: Go Sarai!!
Sarai: Righty-o!! If you can't believe my feelings, then I'll
prove it to you by risking my life for you!! Mizuno!!
Mizuno: [throwing a rock at him] No thanks!! I hate you! I'd
rather be Lartuone's food than be saved by you!!
Kyoko: Oi Mizuno! Don't act so spoilt and just be honest so
you
can get saved!!
Mizuno: No! No! No!
Sakataki: [thinks] They're so alike...
[Sarai is squashed against the rock wall with the rock in his
face]
Sakataki: So you've been going through a lot of hardships,
huh.
Sarai: ~~~~~~~~! [rock falls off his face] You'd rather be eaten
by Lartuone?
[Jumps over]
Sarai: Even if you're okay with that, I'm not!!
Mizuno: Wha..!
Sarai: I love you Mizuno!! That's why I'll protect you
Mizuno!!
[Sarai grabs Mizuno]
[The Thunder Stone glows]
Kyoko: [thinks] The Thunder Stone reacted!!
Staffy: Sarai is going to transform!!
Kyoko: Roger!
[Kyoko gets changed into her Stranger clothes]
Kyoko: That raging heart is the sword of thunder. Gather these
prayers and release this lightning. Answer to my thoughts and howl. Awaken,
Thunder Stranger SARAI!!
Sarai: The Thunder Stone turned into a sword..?
Kyoko: Sarai! Use that to pass thunder through it!
[Sarai gets the idea]
Sarai: So you mean use it as a lightning conductor!!
[Throws it in Lartuone's hand]
Lartuone: !?
Sarai: Falling Thunder Deathbed!!
(note: Um, not too sure about the deathbed bit ^^;)
[Lartuone gets electrocuted]
[Lartuone sceams]
Kyoko: We've done it! Hm?
Lartuone: Ug... Aagh...
[Lartuone turns to stone]
Kyoko: She turned into stone!?
Sakataki: That must mean that Lartuone is a an immortal Mazoku.
It's impossible to kill her... it seems.
Kyoko and Sarai: [laughing cheerfully] Well even if her body
returns and the stone disintegrates, we can just make sure she doesn't do anything bad
again by making a cage around her!
Mizuno: No, we can't!! Lartuone has the shell, which is the sign
of the head of the Sakanazoku!! If we don't have that, we can't bring back the ocean
water!
Sakataki: Unfortunately we don't know when the stone will turn
back. (small print) And we can't exactly ask Lartuone.
Kyoko: We.. We can make rain fall by using the Thunder
Stone!!
Sarai: Well... The Thunder Stone doesn't work unless it's
with the shell.
Chokora: Oh dear.
Staffy: And as a Stranger, we can only manipulate thunder...
Mizuno: [kneeling] How foolish I have been... So easily deceived
by a Mazoku and freeing a criminal for my own benefit. And in the end, I let
everybody die...
[Kyoko watches]
Mizuno: [with a knife] I failed as the head!! I can only make up
for this by taking my own life!!
[Sarai looks shocked]
Kyoko: Time, halt!
[Kyoko takes the knife]
Mizuno: What! Hey? (small print) Where's the knife?
[Kyoko has it]
Mizuno: [frowning] What are you doing, you weird little
thing!!
Kyoko: I am not a weird little thing! I am Earth Nation's first
princess, Suomi Kyoko! Aaand in actual fact! I am the Time Stranger who can
manipulate time!!
With my powers, we can go back to the past before Lartuone stole
it so we can bring it back. Then it'll all be okay!
Mizuno: Princess Kyoko? ... Are you the rumoured Princess Kyoko
who wanted to stop being a princess so you're trying to awaken Princess Ui... I
don't want help from such an irresponsible princess! You
should agree to your duty and...
Kyoko: What would Ginga do?
[Mizuno stares]
Kyoko: If it were up to the doctor aiming Ginga, he wouldn't be
going on about his duty as the head. If there was a way to save all the lives, he
would definitely go for it.
Kyoko monologue: It was that Ginga who you felt amazed by, right?
That's why you fell in love...
Kyoko: Then you have to go! Because if Mizuno is able to say that
wonderful things are wonderful, it will make you a much greater head of the clan
than by feeling responsible and taking your own life.
Kyoko monologue: I'll show you some magic that will let you
see tomorrow.
Kyoko: Time Slip!!
[Mizuno and Kyoko appear in the Hebizoku of the past]
Mizuno: This is... behind the Hebizoku houses. Are you sure the
shell of the head of the clan is going to be here?
Kyoko: It's here all right. Over there.
[Mizuno sees a young Ginga and Akira/Widoshiiku talking]
Mizuno: Brother! Akira!!
[They hide]
Kyoko: Shhh! I heard from Widoshiiku (Akira) that they decided
here, to go on their journey... Ginga should have the shell
with him.
Mizuno: Whaaat!?
Akira/Widoshiiku: Ginga... I've decided that I really will leave
the village.
Ginga: No, no you can't!
Akira/Widoshiiku: No... I've already decided.
Ginga: Please, don't! Don't leave!! If you were to leave, I don't
know what I would do...
[Kyoko and Mizuno frown]
Mizuno: What the hell is that perverted conversation...
Kyoko: They sounds like.. like a couple...
Mizuno: Brother! If you're going to run to a man, then let us
elope~~~~!!
Kyoko: Keep quiet! And don't suggest dangerous things!!
Ginga: It will be too risky with your condition!!
[Kyoko stares, surprised]
Kyoko: [thinks] What...?
Ginga: You don't even know when you will die from the curse
received after sacrificing a snake for the Thunder Stone to
pray for rain!
Kyoko: [thinks] Widoshiiku has a disease!?
Widoshiiku: [undoing his bandana thing] This disease probably
will not heal... When this
bruise surrounds my whole forehead, then I will die. My lungs
will crumple, just like when a snake wraps around a body.
Staffy (I think): As I thought... There is no way anyone would be
safe after forcibly breaking a seal on a God Stone.
Kyoko: ...
Ginga: With your condition, where are you going to go...
Akira/Widoshiiku: I'm going to find a way to break the curse. The
curse is upon the Onishi household... After me, it'll be
Sarai. If I don't do something
before he gets this disease, the whole village will be destroyed...
Kyoko: [teary, and thinks] Widoshiiku
Kyoko monologue: So the reason for being a thief was to
gather information...
Ginga: .... Sir Akira! I will go with you too!!
Akira/Widoshiiku: N. O. You've got your duty to protect the Sakanazoku.
Ginga: But it was the Sakanazoku who brought about the rain
prayer! And the Hebizoku and Sakanazoku are a coexisting clan! If we don't help each
other, we will not prosper.
Akira/Widoshiiku: Mizuno will cry, you know? She's head over
heels with you.
Ginga: Even if I stay in this village, one day I will need a
wife. Either way, I will end up
hurting Mizuno.
[Mizuno is crying]
Ginga: If I have to hurt her, I want it to be as my doctor
aiming self... The one who she
fell in love with. Sir Akira!! Please, take me as a medical attendant!!
Akira/Widoshiiku: [grins] I guess I'll have to, huh. It's decided!
[Akira/Widoshiiku and Ginga grip hands]
Kyoko: Time, halt!
[Kyoko takes the shell off Ginga's necklace]
Kyoko: Ginga... I'll take the symbol of the head of the
clan.
[Kyoko looks back to the crying Mizuno]
Kyoko monologue: For the new, stronger head of the clan...
(back in present time)
(Ginga is with Hizuki)
[Mizuno hugs Ginga]
Ginga: Mizuno!!
Mizuno: Brother!!
[Sarai watches, dissappointed]
Sakataki: Princess... Did you get the shell?
Kyoko: [smiling] Just you wait and see.
Ginga: Hizuki called me back and when I returned, I saw that the
ocean had dried up and all the fish have died... What
happened...
Mizuno: It's okay!! I will do what I can!! Brother... and
everyone else, I'm sorry. All this time, I said that I was only being the head of the clan
until brother came back... And I think somewhere, I was running away. But now I
understand... If I don't protect what I love, then one day I will lose it. [smiles] I love the
ocean! I don't want to lose it!! So I will protect it!!
Ginga: [smiles] Mizuno...
Mizuno monologue: And you too brother... I still love you. I
want to protect your dream...
My wish has now been granted. So please, keep living as the brother
I grew to love....
[The shell glows]
Staffy: That shell... Is that the Flowing Water Stone!?
Kyoko: What!? So that means Mizuno is a Stranger as well!?
Kyoko: That pure heart flows wholeheartedly. Returning to the
ocean as water. Answer to my thoughts and be blessed!! Awaken!
Aqua Stranger MIZUNO!!
[Mizuno now has legs]
Mizuno: What... is going on?
Kyoko: Mizuno... Now you're a Stranger, able to manipulate water.
Go ahead and say a spell. Think hard about wanting the ocean
water to revive once more.
Mizuno: Mizuno Aqua Mermaid!!
[All the water returns]
[Above a cliff, Ginga watches]
Widoshiiku: Let's go Ginga. (small print) Sunechama's here
to pick us up.
Ginga: Yes... Widoshiiku sama
[They disappear off into the horizon]
Mizuno: Brother... Farewell.
[Anako, the female snake is crying... I think Sunechama is her
husband/boyfriend ^^;]
Sarai: Hmph!
Mizuno: Sarai, what is the matter? What are you moping
about?
Sarai: Nothing! [thinks] I tried so hard to save you!
[Mizuno grabs him and kisses him on the cheek]
Mizuno: [poking out her tongue and looking cheeky] I am grateful
to you, too. Thank you.
Sarai: [all teary] Mizuno... (in the background, it says "I'm so
glad I've been living all this time")
Sarai: I love you---!!
Mizuno: [kicking him away] Don't let it get to your head!!
Sakataki: It appears those it will only be a matter of time for
those two. Good job Princess.
Kyoko: ....
Kyoko monologue: I wonder if Sakataki loves me. Is that why you
protect me...?
[Sakataki is on the ground, wheezing]
[Hizuki and Kyoko fall over]
Kyoko: What's the matter Sakataki?
Hizuki: Sakataki kun?
Sakataki: Uh, no, it's nothing!!
Hizuki: Ooooooh! I know, you're embarrassed by seeing those two
kissing, huh? (writing outside bubble) You're so naughty.
Sakataki: [blushing] Shut up! Idiot brother!!
Kyoko: Oh! Sakataki, you tried to kiss me before though and now
you're pretending like you don't know a thing!
Hizuki: Wow! Sakataki kun, you're so daring!
Sakataki: Wha... I never did such a thing to you, Princess!!
Kyoko: Huh? Oh, but in the cave...
Sakataki: [sighing] That was because you weren't gaining
consciousness so I was only performing mouth to mouth
resuscitation.
[Kyoko freezes]
Chokora: Whoa! Big misunderstanding!!
(back at the palace)
Mizuno: I see, if I'm a Stranger, I have to stay here until
the members are complete to give
Princess Ui some power.
Kyoko: [looking depressed]
I know... Sorry. Just when you were all excited about doing
your proper duty as the head of the clan...
Mizuno: [sweatdropping] It's all right, this is all part of
my training!
Sarai: I'm going to stay in the castle too and find a way to
break the snake curse!
Mizuno: Kyoko, why do you want to stop being a princess? I believe
you are a worthy
leader.
(Arrow pointing to Mizuno says: Ignoring [that is, she's
ignoring Sarai])
Kyoko: ..... [smiles]
Kyoko monologue: Oh well... I'm kind of down. So maybe Sakataki
didn't even love me afterall....
Priest Toron: Now, will each of you please stand by the clock and
give your power.
[Kyoko snaps out of thinking]
Kyoko: [thinks] Oops! I have to concentrate, concentrate!
Kyoko monologue: Ui, please answer!!
[Ui glows]
Ui: [speaking softly] Fa... ath.. er...
[Kyoko stares]
King: Ui! You know who I am!?
Kyoko: Ui! Do you know me!? It's Kyoko! Your sister!!
Ui: I don't know. Who are you? I was born alone... Who are you...?
[Kyoko stares, shocked]

Oooooooh even more suspense!!! XD One thing I'm starting to notice
is that Hizuki is awfully
dodgy every now and then. He gives evil looks in the shadows
more often o_O And what I was
wondering about before, when I started reading TSK, was that
Ui and Kyoko look nothing alike.
So I always wondered if they really were sisters. No
offence, but Kyoko never looked very royal
to me ^^; Ui looked very serene, poised and elegant whereas
Kyoko um wasn't -_- And if Chokora
does look like the deceased Queen, then I can understand
maybe it was the hair or something
because Ui has wavy pretty hair as well and Chokora could
somehow resemble Ui, but not Kyoko.
But I always just figured that because they're twins,
doesn't mean they *have* to look alike....
Oooh but now, it is evident that they aren't sisters... *dum dum duuuum*
